作品について

 

 

　私は自身の制作を発掘と称し、あたかも時に埋もれたかのような壁画片を『発掘』しております。

 

１４年４月、東京国立博物館でのキトラ古墳壁画特別公開に併せ、

古墳の石室を発掘、個展会場内に実際に組み上げました。

キトラ・高松塚を手がけた絵師が更に依頼を受け描いていたとすれば、

という想定の元に制作しました。

幼没年での埋葬者という設定で、大きさは両古墳に比しておよそ６０％弱。

天井、東西壁の石版の継ぎ目を再現、壁塗り後に一度解体して経年箇所を作成しました。

日本壁に併せ砂は少なめにし、スサを混ぜ込み壁体としました。

　四聖獣の図案は両古墳共に同図で描かれた事から、同じ図案で作成。

その他の壁面はオリジナルで、被葬者の没年を加味し、比較的賑やかな図柄で彩りました。

東西聖獣の両翼には、幾何紋様と十二支像。

天井壁の天文図は、金箔を用いて星座を装飾しました。

実際に石室内部に潜り込み、自らの手で懐中電灯を用いて鑑賞、体験して頂く方法を取りました。

 

　壁画の描かれた古墳石室を実際に組み上げた個展に続き、

７月の個展から発表を始めた、発掘シリーズの新展開。

今回は地層そのものがその手で発掘されました。
人類が始めて描いた場は、洞窟の壁、そして広がる大地だった筈です。
描かずにはいられない原始的衝動は、埋もれた地層として時に包まれ表されます。
用いられるのは市販の調合されたチューブ入り絵の具等ではなく、自身で採取した数種の土。

私は元来の専門が混合技法であり、絵画修復等の補助もしておりました。

そういった面で培った知識から、採取した土を精製、利用し、あたかも実際に地層を切り取ってきたかのような

表現を生み出しました。

 

 

I call own work an excavation and "am unearthing" the piece of a mural painting as if it was sometimes buried. 

It combined with the Kitora Tumulus mural painting special public presentation in the Tokyo National Museum, and actually finished setting up the ancient tomb of an ancient tomb in the excavation and the private exhibition hall in April, 2014.

The joint of the lithograph of a ceiling and an east-and-west wall was once disassembled after reappearance and wall coating, and the secular part was created. 

It combined with the Japanese plaster wall, and sand was lessened slightly, mixed Susa and used it as the lump wall object. 

From both ancient tombs having been drawn in the figure, the design of 4 holy beast is created with the same design. 

The other surface of a wall was original, considered the 葬-ed person's age at death, and colored it in the comparatively busy pattern. 

the both wings of east-and-west holy beast -- geometry -- a crest -- an appearance and a twelve-zodiacal-signs image. 

The astronomical figure of the ceiling wall ornamented the constellation using gold leaf. 

It was actually hidden in the inside of an ancient tomb, and took the method of having a flashlight used and experienced [ appreciate and ] by one's hand. 

New deployment of the excavation series which began the announcement from the private exhibition in July following the private exhibition which actually finished setting up the ancient tomb ancient tomb on which the mural painting was drawn. 

The stratum itself was unearthed by the hand this time. 

The places which human beings began and drew must have been a wall of a cave, and the spreading ground. 

The primitive impulse which must be drawn is sometimes wrapped as a buried stratum, and front is carried out. 

Being used are several sorts of grounds extracted for themselves [, such as paints containing a tube with which marketing was prepared, ]. 

An original speciality is a mixed technique and I was also doing assistance of pictures restoration etc. 

Expression as if it refined and used the extracted ground and had actually cut out the stratum from the knowledge cultivated in the such field was produced.
